TV is just under 2 years old. The problem occurred while viewing. All inputs are impacted. Upon power-on the lines are very narrow and limited to the right edge of the screen. After a minute or two the start to expand horizontally, and a few minutes later blue and purple vertical bars will cover 90% of the screen. When I change inputs or press the menu button the brightness will change, and highly distorted shadows of the image show, although you can't recognize anything. Clearly some image processing is going on, but final stage of delivery to the panel appears to be impacted.

its in warranty ship it, the problem is actually not common but it is a problem it is related to the processor on the main board, and um don't trust salesmen to tell you about repair issues. They really don't have a clue. if you need a tv for to weeks then rent one for two weeks they are not that expensive to rent

The only thing I would do is make sure it does it on all sources so you can verify it is the TV causing the issue. It'll just save you time on the phone with the service center.

The only way might solved this problem,to replaced the Tuner Signal board.If the board is replaced have same problem,then ur tv have some kind of dead pixels burns in.Tries Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com for the board part.

I have this same problem with my 52 inch toshiba regza , The repair shop has said the cost of repair is as much as it is to replace the TV. I am past the one year warranty, but less than 2 year ownership, so Toshiba won't fix the known issue. Solution is don't buy a Toshiba
