The 7 inch tablet when you turn it on shows the 2 dogs then goes to rca logo and nothing else. tried to reset by holding power & volume button at same time, did not work
How do we fix the problem stated above. the tablet will not turn on all the way. we tried the restart and holding down power and volume buttons at the same time. the tablet is only 7 months old

Step 1. With your tablet turned off, press and hold the volume up (+) button. While holding the volume up (+) button, press the tablet's power button until you see the RCA logo with Nipper and Chipper on the screen. After a few seconds, the screen will change and you will see the Android bot on his back with a caution symbol above him.Step 2. Now you are going to press and hold the tablet's power button, and without releasing the power button press down on the volume up (+) button,Step 3. Use the tablet's volume up (+) and down (+) keys to navigate to and select the "wipe data/factory reset" option. To select this option, press the power button.Step 4. The tablet is going to ask you to confirm your selection. Use the tablet's volume up (+) and down (-) keys to navigate to and select "Yes - delete all user data." Once again, use the power button to select this option.Step 5. At the bottom of the next screen, you will see "Data wipe complete." Press the power button to restart the system.6. The system will begin to reboot and once again display the RCA logo with Nipper and Chipper. The next "Welcome" screen will prompt you to select your language of choice. Scroll through the options using your finger and press start when finished.
Geraldine, if holding Vol+ & Power button doesn't work, try Vol- & Power button...this worked for mine right out of the box, and now the plus works instead... Once you see the Android logo, let go. Then you can choose to reset the data first, THEN the factory settings... Let me know how it goes... Good luck & try to have fun!!!
you may have to do a factory reset. With the device turned off, press and hold the volume down button, and then briefly press the power button. - Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the volume down button. - Press volume down to select clear storage, and then press power. - Press volume up to start the factory reset.
1. Turn your tablet off. 2. Hold volume up and power button at the same time. 3. Wait until the android dog screen pop up and then the android upside down with a triangle in it will come up the you hit reboot with your volume up or down button and press power for ok.
1.Power the device is OFF
2.Press n Hold the volume DOWN Button
3.Press and hold the power button for 5secs
4. Release the power button WHILE still holding the Volume down Button
5.When the logo appears release the Volume Button
6. Use the Volume Up/Down buttons to highlight Factory Reset
7. Press Power Button to select
allow the process to run...the device will restart as normal (should restart as normal if all goes as planned)
You'll need to do a factory reset: 1. With the device off, press and hold Volume Up and Power. 2. Release the Power button when you see the logo, but continue to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears. 3. Use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection. 4. Press Volume Up continue.
