I have a reel to reel tape deck connected to my mixer.I got a signal go in.I see the vu meter moving, but getting nothing recorded.Where do I connect it,and where is the volume for the tape deck?
I would need to know what brand / model deck for better details. If the meters are moving you have signal, what isn't clear is are you feeding tape playback through the mixer. There should be send for stereo, if it is stereo, and that can be attaced to RCA left / right on the mixer. Or if 1/4" mono or stereo, plug into the channels needed. That way you can use the mixer for volume control for tape out.
Hi, use the RCA/Phono connections for the Tape In & Out. The level will be set by the Master/Main fader. If that is not so convenient (& assuming it's a PMP4000?) there should be a "Main 2" output & connections with the level controlled separately to Main 1 via a Knob / Rotary control over to the right above the "Mono" fader... Hope that helps... Good Luck!

SOURCE: i want to connect two passive b212 and 6 active
The passive speakers connect to the main outputs using Speakon connectors on the back.
You will use Balanced connections (TRS) to the main L and R connections on top to the active speakers. Daisy chain 3 active on each of the L and R top connectors.
You can download a user manual if you don't have one.
http://www.behringer.com/EN/downloads/pdf/PMP1000_P0566_M_EN.pdf
ALSO PLEASE read my tip regarding a hazard when using Speakon to 1/4 inch speaker cables on channel "A" in the FIXYA tips for PMP mixers. The barrel of the channel A 1/4 inch is the HOT side of the signal to the speaker instead of the tip.
SOURCE: where (on-line) can we find download for advanced
There really ISN'T and "advanced" manual... Everything you need to know is in the user manual that comes with it... Service manual with schematics will not give you much you can use unless you are into electronics detail.
PLEASE read my tip about Behringer PMP mixers on here regarding a hazard if you use Speakon to 1/4 inch cables or adapters. Essentially, the sleeve, NOT the tip is the HOT lead for a speaker on channel A. Ground it inadvertently and goodbye channel A amp.
Be VERY careful of speaker leads with this amp as it is easy to pop a channel IF a speaker comes loose or shorts. Loop cables through the handlesto avoid cables being yanked out or breaking plugs.

Phantom should ONLY be on if using CONDENSER mics or a DI box requiring phantom power... yours should be OFF. cables should be correct. The 2 Trk to mix button should be down.
