My printer is printing an error page with input read error on it everytime we try to print something please help

Enter 10871087 on the Machine.U000 will appears.Enter 020 and press lighter or darker exposure buttons untill CLE appears on the display.Press start.After few seconds switch off and onn machine.Also reinstall drivers, install KX drivers and add new local TCP/IP port if You using Machine on the Network.

This is a common error but I have done heaps and fix has always been use clean formatted stick, get lastest engine firmware
copy to root of usb stick or CFlash card(side), power on printer with stick in socket I double check your copy engine firmware
I use engine S2F9_1000008002.x and system, S2F9_3000008002.bcmp . allow to complete, remove stick, youre done, if this fails and I've done probally 100 and yet to see a fail then try with CF card if that also fails then you will need new eprom from kyo

Check cable is secure from pc to printer

Check printer can print a status page via printer keypad and is online/ready

If these are ok then it is a print driver issue

Turn off printer, Unplug usb, delete and reinstall print driver

SOURCE: Printer will only print page 1 of multiple page documents

1. Check that you are using the latest print driver - from kyocera website.
2. If the issue is when you print pdf files then make sure you set the printer in KPDL Auto mode - check the print driver settings about this and the printer menu.
3.You may check if you have the latest firmware installed within the printer - print a service status page (Menu->Others->Service).
