The machine is making a thumping noise underneath the belt. F85 Sole Threadmill.

on some treadmills the motor is coupled with a belt to the main wide belt drive. if it is cracked it can create a rapid thump.
tip

How to prevent threadmill from shutting down.

Some threadmills will shutdown due to overloaded heat sensors on motor drives. To possibly prevent that from happening it is wise to keep machines away from dusty conditions and places where dust balls can form and to vacuum them at least once a month.

I have different issues with threadmill

Sounds to me like the motor has a shorted field coil or open or shorted armature. The motor is bad, you can order a new one at the companies website.

2) You must LUBE the rollers bearings too very well

3) Test the voltage input for motor, if there are the motor NEED REPAIR.

i just had a noise in my York T301 that sounds exactly the same as yours. It also came up with a E1 error code and stopped working. I pulled the motor hood off and noticed that the magnet in the drive pully had come dislodged. It was hitting the speed sensor near the belt. Glued magnet back in and all better. Hope this helps.
