Hello i got a maytag dryer model #mde6700ayw wont run and give me a code t5 what can ii do to fix that problem

I believe that your code is actually "tS" vs t5. TS is a shorted thermistor

From the repair manual.

tS = Dryer Thermistor Short Sensed

{The Thermistor resistance is very low}.

Check for:

- Clogged lint screen.

- Restricted vent system.

- Check Thermistor resistance.

- Check for diagnostic code 1

The thermistor is item 50 this link: PN 35001191
http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5174648&diagram_id=28603393#d28603393

The thermistor has to be shorted to the chassis to get this code.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,

Kelly

Same problem reinsert the memory stick, nothings working!!

You have a bad memory card slot board. There is no easy fix only to take apart and replace. Expensive repair.

BackupBuddy VFS Pro supports the LifeDrive?

The readme info needs to be updated. The current readme is actually from the previous version and out of date. It should now look something like this.. (note newest info at top, previous version info underneath) BBVFS 3.1.4 New features include: + added option to backup after HotSync + LifeDrive compatibility fixes Bug fixes include: - some password letters were being ignored - fixed problem of backing up files encrypted with the built-in Security app - blank screen/crash on startup - crashes during orphans processing - no scrollbar appeared when there were more than 10 checkpoints in the list - didn't fail gracefully when trying to restore corrupted backup files BBVFS 3.1, 6.05 * Users may now select which card to backup to on devices with more than one card slot * Backup and Restore of T5 internal drive (!) is now supported * Backup of databases with records > 64K is supported, which will allow backup/restore of Photo/Videos on T3/T5/T650 and "VoiceDial" application * Advanced screen now adds new files to the backup set automatically * Wireless updating (via "About" screen) * Implemented a Palm Source Installer package * Many important bug fixes, including: Several issues relating to compression and encryption "Last Backup" being incorrectly set to "NEVER" No longer will soft-reset if no card is mounted on the T5 TUNGSTEN T5 SUPPORT This build includes further refinements to backup and restore on the T5 but we have confirmed with PalmOne that there are some issues with the T5 NVFS implementation that require a patch from to completely resolve. We recommend that all users download and install the T5 patch that is available here: http://www.palmone.com/us/support/d...ent5update.html Alternatively T5 users may want to try a program called "DBCache Tool" which you may download here: http://www.jade.dti.ne.jp/~imazeki/palm/DBcT/ LIFEDRIVE SUPPORT We are aware that this release contains some remaining issues with the new PalmOne LifeDrive and we are working to resolve them. Please contact [email protected] if you'd like to help with testing. BBVFS 3.07, 1.05 BackupBuddyVFS 3.07 is being released with preliminary support for the T5/Treo 650, although there are still some outstanding issues that we are continuing to investigate; specifically: * Power Users with a (near) full device especially may experience "out of memory" errors and/or random resets; restarting the backup or restore operation will usually allow it to reach completion. This is due to issues with the new "NVFS" file system on these new devices that developers cannot currently work around. We hope that palmOne will issue a patch to fix this, and we will continue to try and find a work-around. * Photos and Videos will not be backed up on the Treo 650/Tungsten T5.

Sync

Unfortunately, it's doing what it's supposed to do. When you change the contact in your T5, it still has the old one on your PC. When it goes to sync, it thinks they are two different contacts (because they are different), so it adds the updated one to your PC, and the old one to your T5 resulting in both the old and new being in the T5 and your PC. It is easy to fix, although aggravating. Try right clicking the HotSync Manager icon in your toolbar and for the Contacts section make the handheld overwrite the desktop. I think it goes back to "sync" after you perform the sync, but you better double check my advice :)
