Envy phone just blacked out..died..cant get any response...HELP..battery is charged

Your battery is dead. This happens when the battery is worn out or if you fully uncharged it and left it like that for too long. The kind of battery in your phone breaks if charged below 3.7v. This is why the phone shuts down controlled, instead of just powering off when its dry - to protect the battery from going too low. If it shuts it self down and you leave it like that for too long, it dies.

Its easy to replace the battery, so go find a local repair shop and get the battery replaced.

PS: It is possible that another internal component is broken, but highly unlikely, unless you got the phone wet. If you did, just toss it (recycle responsibly) and buy a new one.

The optimus black phone should take 2-3 hours to fully charge. When you get a new phone, however, it is generally a good idea to let the battery completely die before you start charging it.

Over time, batteries hold less and less charge. Supposedly, by allowing the battery to completely die before charging it the first time, you improve the longevity of the battery.

it is not a setting bring it to store they will fix it

yes the battery is dead. replace it. cant help ypu anymore as you alone can replace it.

you need a Universal Battery Charger, the one i have is a Omnipotence AC Travel Charger Adaptor, its for all type of Mobile Phone Battery Batteries. i got mine off amazon only £5

do a hard reset on the phone you won't lose any information hold home button and sleep/wake button at the same time until an apple logo appears then release the buttons

That doesn't sound normal. Call verizon to see if they can troubleshoot it with you. If they cant figure it out, you may need to take the phone in. Good luck.

Hey i think i just figured out the problem to all the port charging issues for the envy and envy 2 phones with verizon. its not the phones, its the charger cord! the part that goes into the phone. it gets pulled out over time from pulling the cord out of the phone all the time. get a pair of pliers. grab the end and push the metal end of the cord against somthing hard, push it back in so it is at the appropriate depth. this should make it charge properly again!

Similar problem, battery ran out but cant get recharge it, sometimes the screen flashes if it take the battery out and put it back in, but then black?

Should I try an new battery or a new phone?

I took your suggestion and replaced the SIM card, but the difference is I managed to locked it in tightly. It worked.
