Facebook.com might be included in the list of untrusted sites from your browser's setting. If you are using Internet Explorer, you can confirm that by clicking Tools and then Internet Options. Go to the Security tab and click Restricted Sites icon and click Sites button. Check if facebook.com is on the list -- you can remove that and click OK.

You can also include http://www.facebook.com in the Trusted Sites. Just do the same, from the Security tab, click Trusted Sites icon and click Sites button. Add http://www. facebook.com on the list and click OK.

Have you tried logging in with a different browser? if that doesn't work or you don't want to switch browsers try clearing you browser history and clearing all the cookie and caches. You can do this by going into the settings or options tab of whatever browser you're using.

Step 1:

Determine the web browser you are using. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or another third party browser.

Step 2:

Verify that the login credentials for Facebook are accurate. If you do have multiple browsers, attempt to login to Facebook through one of the other browsers just to test credentials and to determine if it's the Web Browser or the Operating System.

Step 3:

*If it works, stop here. Congrats!
*If not... continue.
Each of these browsers have a reset function or the option to clear cache & cookies. Toggle the necessary switches to clear "all the junk" out of them. (Note, Internet Explorer has an issue with HTML occasionally and just clearing the cache isn't enough. Under the Advanced Settings tab, you can reset to factory defaults.)
