I have tried with no avail to delete old emails received and sent, when I delete them from my trash, they show up in my all mail. then it seems like they are all gone, but the next time I open the computer they are back again. and as I am deleting them it shows that I have incoming mail but all it is doing is moving it from one file to the next. Can you help me with this? I would really like to remove them permantely.
You are only deleting local copies.
Every time you log on to your account, it downloads them again as they are still in your inbox.
You need to delete them while on-line to your mail account.
They should then move to the deleted folder on-line.
Then go to the deleted folder and you select them al,,l and tell the mail program to delete them permanently from the deleted folder.
Then you will never be able to recover them.
SOURCE: CANT LOG INTO EXISTING FACEBOOK
Hi,
I had the same problem when someone guessed my facebook password and started writing messages to my friends. I found out that I couldn't fully delete the Facebook profile, but I deleted all the information/photos etc and applications and friends from it.
That was before Facebook changed over to the new look, though, but you should still be able to delete all the information..
Hope this helps

Windberry 37: I think badthree was asking if anyone knew how to get their OLD FB page back as I am asking. I put a lot of work and effort into it and am not interested in starting over. If it is gone forever, I will just move on, not the end of the world but I have heard of people being able to restore after similar things have happened. Thanks anyway, but I am looking for a different kind of advice.
Crazydani: it just says that I cannot be found as a user. It's as if I never existed.
badthree: it seems that if you write to Facebook, they may restore after a few days. Here are some addresses to write to. I have written and will let you know if it works...

There should be a link on the e-mail you recive from Facebook to stop the alert try and log in to your account see what happends. Or recover it and then stop the alert and delete the account.
best of luck.

HI,
If you have permanently deleted your account by filling up this form, your account information and the contents are completely removed by Facebook.
Instead, if you just Deactivated the account by using this link http://www.facebook.com/deactivate.php, the contents and information are not deleted and the account can be reactivated later.
Another method to check whether your Facebook account exists is by trying to Sign up for a Facebook account using your email address. If you get an error message which says: "There is an existing account associated with my email address", then your account is active and you will have to request a new password to access the account.
Also, kindly let us know your Facebook user name and the email id associated with the account so that we can check if it is active.
Thanks for using FixYa.
