SOURCE: Cannot turn date stamp off and date keeps resetting
Try removing battery from camera then wait 10 seconds before installing. This action resets camera.
If no work, locate your camera software version. Procedure should be in manual, else could probably find it in a google search. Then locate latest version with a google search, or panasonic camera website, or call to customer service and ask.
It you do not have latest version, ask customer service how to download it.
SOURCE: Need to stamp date and time on pictures that I
On the ZS3, it's explained on pgs.90,96,and 105 in the manual. If you don't have your manual, you can download and view these pages from the support section of the Panasonic website....the procedure should be the same for your camera.
SOURCE: How do I turn on the time and date stamp?
Your camera won't deface your pics by scrawling a string of numbers across them. However the date and time (and a lot more) are stored with each file in its EXIF metadata. Just about any photo editor/viewer should be able to show you this data. If you want to print the date, please refer to the documentation for whatever program you use to print your pics. Depending on the program and printer, you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.
