SOURCE: How do I open the frond panel to clean the lint

on some models, what you need to do is open the back plate. should be about 10 quarter in screws. on other models, you would take the bottom kick-plate off by using a putty knife to puck in the 2 clips so they can release.

SOURCE: My Kenmore 60 series gas dryer will not heat up. I

Some dryers have a small inspection hole covered by a small platic cap.
Remove cap and look inside unit for pilot. Newer dryers have an igniter that glows when the dryer is turned on. It ignites the gas then goes out.

Washing machine is not completing spin cycle at high speeds. Only goes slow speed tumble for a few times and then stops.

Below is for Whirlpool/Kenmore, u might find it helpful. Some machines have a small trap door on left front bottom, coin trap.

The filter on your pump is probably clogged with lint and stuff. You have to remove the bottom front panel, 3 torx screws underneath. The panel will drop and come off. Drain off the excess water from the drain pipe you see. The white filter cover is right in front. Get yourself a good plastic bag to collect water. Unscrew the filter cover and twist the filter out. Clean out all the stuff and put it back in carefully. Check your pump too, comes after the filter.

On some models the filter is located ‘inside’ the big hose from the bottom of the tub. This takes more time to clean.

Kenmore front load won't drain

Try this, on the access panel below the door(panel that goes across the front of the washer) remove the attaching screws at the bottom corners and pull the panel off, you should see a round, white plastic cap with finger hold bar across the middle of it, unscrew the cap by turning it counter clockwise, pull it towards you to open the trap, clean the filter trap out completely and reverse the order you took it apart to put it back togrether, try running the machine as normal. Good luck and Happy Holidays!

I can't totally clean the lint trap on my PYE2300AYW Maytag dryer. How can I completely remove the lint trap to clean it?

If lint has gotten past the lint trap, you can attempt to use a brush just like the previous poster suggested. If that doesn't work you'll have to disassemble the unit. You only need to lift the top up and remove two screws on each side that connects the front to the side panels. The front should then swivel outward. Be sure to detach the door switch and wire guide from the front panel before completely removing it. You can then lift the front panel up and away. You'll need to clean the opening in the bottom of the front panel and also the entrance to the blower.

I have a smelly Frigidaire front loader HE washer.

Front load washers have a front panel that is general held on with 3 screws at the bottom that you can not see. There should be one on each corner and one in the middle once you remove these screws the panel drops down and you will find a white plastic cap that has a hose running to it and from it. If you twist that open with a bucket or something to catch the water that has been left in the machine, you will find that it is a filter that pulls out and it is usually full of stuff. Clean that out and replace and see if it will fill and drain, if not the pump is not working and needs to be replaced.

Front Load Washer Seal

you will have to take off the front off washer to put it back correctly.

remove the top panel 3 screws in top rear
remove the bottom panel 3 screw in bottom front
remove the top led control panel 3 screw or more along front lip
if you disconnect any wiring mark it well .
now the front of washer can be removed with or without the door (your choice)
careful with the door lock wiring.
be sure to unplug the washer.
while you are in the innards its a good time to wipe around the drum any buildup of soap etc..
and to clean the filter trap in the bottom access tube below drum.
