Just replaced the lamp, reset tm, worked fine for 4 days, now goes black, but have sound, will come back on for few minutes and go off, repeat, etc...
Bad power supply. Contact SONY for advice. They will pay for the repair and service call if it is still under warranty

I had the same exact problem.
I removed the bulb and cleaned it. There is a small screen at the top of the bulb and it was covered with dust. Once it was cleaned I replaced the bulb and it solved the problem.

Replace the lamp, clean the fans, seen it a hundred times, I know "the lamp light isn`t blinking" replace your lamp and you`ll be back up & running, gl, video-tek

Replace your Lamp and you should be just Fine. Call Mats 1-800-628-1118 or Look on line Encompass Parts Distr. they will list your Lamp # or Call them 1-800-638-3328 also Look under E-Bay I found my Lamp for 85.00
