I have a Ford King Ranch F250 Super (2010)
I have a problem with my eletric mirrors. The passenger mirror will not fold in or out, it is completely dead, but the power slide still works and the mirror glass still works. The drivers mirror when you operate the fold button sometimes the mirror tries to fold in and out, or the mirror glass tries to move when you try to alter the power folding. Also the power slide works and the mirror glass adjustment still works. Can anyone please help with this problem.

It sound like to me that the controller for the mirror is going bad
you may want to go to the junk yard and take one out of a wrecked
truck with low miles or one Gathas been tested
Roll the window down first, you will need 2 hands. Pull the small cover off that is at the top front of the door pannel. You will then disconnect the wire connector and remove the three 11mm nuts that are holding the mirror in place. Pull mirror out and replace.
If you dont have just that little pannel you will have to remove the door pannel. If you dont have power windows pull the cover out on the window crank and move it to the side, there will be a screw holding the crank in place. Remove it. If you do have power windows remove the window control switch plate (it will just pop up using a small screwdriver) and disconnect the wires. If equipped, remove the front door trim panel reflector or the courtesy lamp lens. Then remove the screws. DO NOT pull directly outward on the door pannel, something will brake. Remove the front door trim panel by pulling it straight upward.Lift and remove the front door trim panel. Then the nuts holding the mirror will be visible, remove and replace the mirror.
There are 2 fuses associated with the power mirrors, fuses F4 & F3.
The next thing to check ( if equiped ) do the power seats still work ? The reason I ask, is if the power seats do not work, this ( usually ) is a broken splice in the driver's side door sill. The broken wire also has other items associated with it.
Start with checking the fuses, and if they are good check for power at the power mirror switch on the : F3 - Orange w/ Light Green stripe wire. F4 is for the power fold module ( in 06 a King Ranch option ).
The door panel must be removed to get to the wiring. On a 04 250 you need to: pop off the moulding covering the mirror mounting nuts. Pry the window switch plate forward then up to disconnect it, then unplug it . Rmove the screw behind the switch plate and behind the reflector. Push up on the door panel to remove it.
