I have a blaupunkt woodstock dab 54 and its stuck saying wait 1h HELP!

Incorrect code has been entered more than 3 times, you will need to leave key in acc position for an hour or so to clear security lockout. Then check code is correct to units sn

Hi , try 7589 , not sure if it will work but its a maybe , i also have a dab54 and i got the key wrong 3 times , now its been stuck saying wait 1 hour for the past 8 hours , i think imma introduce my hammer to it , hope the code helps :)

WAIT 1 HR means wrong codes have been entered previously

To restore, leave SWITCHED ON ..UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself

In this case it should be 1 hour

The radio SERIAL NUMBER will be required for calculating a code

On some radios, pressing Buttons 6 and 1 or 6 and 2 (together) may display a Serial Number.

If not , then remove the radio from the dashboard.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

Ive got the same unit & they can be a bit unpredictable.Theres a way around it as the unit facilitates a 'NORMSET' feature which allows the user to reset the unit to basic settings as when it was first taken out of the box.
Also the sd card you use can only be 1gb or less & has to be formatted in 16kb through windows XP or Vista.
If you want to know more get back to me & I will talk you through it,it sounds like the units been corrupted by a sd card that wasn't formatted correctly as this happened to mine but now is sorted.
The WOODSTOCK Range aren't made anymore,the latest version is the NASHVILLE,and I was advised that my unit may have had to go back to Germany for reprogramming as no-one really knows about them in the UK.
However I sought advice and problem was rectified.
