Deb, as long as the ignitor is glowing, it's probably your coils on the valve. Look at number 13 and 14 on the attachment. Part number for the booster coil is 306106 and 306105 for the secondary coil. Not a hard job, the coils slide right off after removing a screw and then replace the harness. Catriver...post back.

SOURCE: This afternoon, the power to the dryer went out.

It sounds like you either have a defective control board or a bad thermal fuse. To access the thermal fuse you need to remove the top panel, then remove the control panel and then the front panel. The three fuses are attached to the left side of the heater canister. If one doesn't read less than 1 ohm then you need to replace it.

Also, check the voltage coming out of the outlet that the dryer is plugged into using a Multi-Meter. You can also try resetting the breaker controlling the circuit with the dryer. Else, replace the main control board.

Here is the Main Control Board:

All three lights turn on like normal and then nothing

Depending on the pitch. humming noises are either a motor ie: fan motor or if it is very low a defective capacitor . Since you have the yellow band and the high pitched beep my fist thought is somthing defective in the power supply. Take it to an authorized servicer.

Your color wheel needs to be changed. Mine just did the same thing. I changed mine, and the buzzing sound went away, however now my picture washes out with light or yellow colors. The darks look green and purple also.

That blinking yellow light is an error code. If you look behind the main cover there will be a wiring diagram and error code chart. This will give you an idea what the problem is.

I had the same problem just yesterday. Turn off the printer for 10 seconds. Then turn back on. Turn back off again and unplug from the electrical outlet. Open the control panel and tilt it toward you. Close the control panel, plug machine back into the outlet and turn back on. I did this and it solved my problem.
