To change your email address for Gmail, you will need to create a new Gmail account with your new email address and migrate your old data to the new account. Here are the steps to do this:

1. Create a new Gmail account: Go to the Gmail website and click the "Create account" button. Follow the prompts to create a new account with your new email address.
2. Sign in to your old Gmail account: Sign in to your old Gmail account using your current email address and password.

If you have access, you can export the list, then import it into the new account.
Go to settings, accounts and import, and click import mail and contacts

Get the new email address, and then in your "primary" one - the one you want the mail to be sent to - go to settings (the gear thingie on the upper right) settings / accounts and imports / import mail and contacts.

It is not uncommon for a person to have more than one email account.
Most email service providers offer their customers a way to import email contacts and messages from other email accounts into the account maintained by the provider.

you mean you no longer receive emails coming from that mail adress ? If so, try to add it to your contacts first.
If the problem is to receive all emails coming to that email and sending emails with that account, go to your gmail parameters than "transfer pop and imap" activate both protocols than go to "accounts and importation" and follow instructions to add that adress to your gmail account "send mails as"
