Why does my canon MP280 printing blurry after putting new ink in ?

"The error code is standard for many of the late model MPxxx printers. The B200 error is "Printhead Temperature exceeded", What this means that while you were printing some document, either one or more of the printhead ink wells ran out of ink and the printing continued. Printhing without ink in the wells will OVERHEAT THE PRINTHEAD NOZZLES and can potentially burn the out. The printer has a built in temperature sensor to detect the ambient temperature and to monitor the temperature of the head. This data is always collected and monitored and saved in the EEprom data and the Service Test print data.

If the error will not go away once you have unplugged the priner for at least 5 minutes, then there is the possibility that you have already burnt out the head. Remove the printhead and use a 5x magnification glass to look VERY CLOSE at all of the nozzles to see if you can detect any possible burnt out nozzle.

It many come down to need a new printhead.

Hi there, i have the same problem, did you find a solution?

I had the same error, did the reset and only got another error, e04. I then removed and carefully cleaned the cartridges and the metal points in the printer that read them. The printer reset itself and worked fine afterwards.

For error e 1 4 = better take it out and wipe the smudges
for error e 0 5 = check the ink catridge, when ciss installed most installer make mistake by making the red ink hole at the circle made on it. you must make the hole slightly under it, the small hole. the big round is under the thick plastic lid, so the pipe we put will make the catridge move from the original position. or your cartridge just spoilt.

I think that you haven't downloaded a driver.You'd better access the Internet to download one.(I just solve it in China this way.)

Did you try to replace the ink cartridge ?

You try can uninstalling the printers software on the computer, then install it again, you may need the original cd for the job.

you can also try adding a new printer under control panel anf set it as default printer.

what type of priter are u using..
