I Forgot my password code on my lg optimus cell phone

If it's an android device...
1. Enter wrong pattern 5 times and wait for 30 seconds.
2. Select "Forgot pattern" and enter your email account username and password.
3. Make sure you use the same account that was used to activate the device and double check the password by logging in to that email account in a browser.
4. If you don't have access to the original email account, you will need to do a hard reset and loose your settings and apps on the devcice. The data on the memory card will not be wiped though.
Note: if you can't remember your email password, you will have to visit the email service support page to get it reset.

Suggest send phone along with proof of your ID to LG Optimus and have them recover your codes.

You can reset patter lock if you remember Backup PIN and Google account account ID and password, without loosing your data other wise hard reset is only option but all user data will be erased.

Too many pattern attempts

My lg p970 optimus black has been pattern locked and its showing too many pattern attempts and i forget my gmail id also

You can unlock LG p500 screen pattern using your google acount, but if you already set it in your phone. To unlock lg phone with google account you just need to type any wrong pattern 5 times then your phone will be asking your google account and after you insert that google account you can setup new screen patern for your phone. Unfortunately if you don't ever setup google account in your phone, you only can unlock it with factory reset methods. For the details about this process you can see at here at page 21 and soon. you can enter your code in the following way. LG Android Phones
Start your LG Optimus GT540 Android Phone
Click the icon to open the phone dialer
Enter 2945#*540# and press send
Enter the provided unlock code (which you have purchased)
Click 'Unlock' , then it's done.
