There is a small tab that one has to press down to unlock the retainer clip.
Press this down while pulling the tray outward.

SOURCE: Detergent dispenser drawer stuck

You may have to remove the washer top (three phillips screws at the back, then push top back about two inches and lift it off) then drill a hole in the top of the plastic dispenser to allow you to use an object like a screwdriver to maneuver the offending part around so it will drop down and allow you to open the dispenser drawer. Use foil tape to seal hole if you don't want to buy a new dispenser. Clean out blue plastic dispenser parts so detergent will siphon out completely. Pushing down on the center tab at the back of the dispenser should allow you to take the dispenser drawer the remainder of the way out. In the future, make sure you do not use over 1 tablespoon of HE soap (and 1 teaspoon of fabric softner) max per load. Even less if you have 2x or more detergent.

SOURCE: LG Tromm - WM2688HNM - Detergent dispenser full of water & some detergent after wash.

sounds like you have calcium build up, this happens alot with LG's. need to take out the dispenser and clean the calcium with industrial lime away, that only works good for me, but others will do, also use a sharp object, like a ice pick or finishing nail, to scrape off any left over hard residue.
the calcium will clog all the holes in the dispenser.

if this doesn't solve your problem, then there is one thing left
just email me and ill give you the other solution.....

SOURCE: My LG Tromm detergent door is stuck closed and I

Here's what I would do:
Take the two screws off the back plastic parts which are attached to the top cover. Leave the ones in that go into the cover, just remove the bottom one on each side.
Now, standing in front of the machine, use the palms of your hands to sharply push back the top cover (pushing on the right and left edge of the top). It only moves about two inches. Now, lift the cover off.
Use a flashing to try to see into the semi opaque dispenser to determine where the hang up is.
Drill a small hole in the top of the dispenser chamber to allow you to poke an object like a screw driver in to manuver the offending part of the dispenser, allowing removal of the dispenser drawer. Use a peice of foil duct tape to seal the hole you previously drilled.

SOURCE: detergent dispenser stuck

Had the same problem here today, the softener dispenser blue plastic piece was loose jamming the whole dispenser tray, to resolve remove top cover, two screws on top rear, slide the cover towards the back, you will then see the detergent dispenser, press the right clips and pull it off slightly at the back; do not put too much pressure and try to remove the cover completely, just pry the plastic cover a bit then pull the detergent tray it should come right out.

The water usually drains from the drawers just by gravity. Have you checked that your machine is level?

Lg tromm washer leaks from detergent drawer

my washer also was leaking from the dispenser and I had a cap from one of the detergent bottles stuck in the inlet hose. Don't know how it got in there but glad I found it so if your washer leaks from the soap tray it could be a cap from your detergent bottle stuck in there.

Yes the system is cloghed. Pull the detergent drawer out and clean the drawers housing. try using some bleach. It allways helps.

BE ADVICED: after using bleach run quick wash cycle on without any load, it's just to get rid of all bleech remains and not to damage your clothes

LG Tromm - WM2688HNM - Detergent dispenser full of water & some detergent after wash.

Even though you want your washer completely leveled, you need it to be leveled but slightly tilting to the back.
We were having this issue after we releveled our washer because of vibrations during the spin cycle. Once we made a slight adjustment, the problem was solved.

Dispenser door stuck

The dispenser assembly has warped and needs to be accessed from the top.  Remove the top panel to gain access to the dispenser.  The top part of the dispenser can be pried off so you could remove the drawer.
