sc546 is a fuser ready temp problem.
it requires a reset procedure: enter SP mode.touch Copy SP..touch SP DIRECT then press 7807# on the keypad then execute...turn power off and then back on

Repair fuser and reset code

replace thermostat in heating section or u yuor tirmistor is directly touching the heat roller

SC546 - Unstable fusing temperature

Symptom: The fusing temperature does not rise
3 °C or more within 5 seconds after the
fusing lamp has been on over 8
seconds.

Possible Cause:
• Thermistor defective
• Power supply unit defective

SC546 A Fusing ready temperature unstable The fusing temperature is fluctuating. Thermistor connection loose Fusing unit connector loose you have to go into service mode and reset it

Fusing thermistor defective
The ROD was engulfed with powder not allowing to rotate. When removed everything was normal- SC546

Try to go into service mode to reset the code...

then press and hold the red stop botton till the display changes and then turn the main Power switch Off then back ON... You do not have to do any thing in service mode, just get to that display.... Don't change anything unless you know what you are doing. sc546 has to do with the fixing unit. You may be able to reset it.
