Go into your contacts on your iphone
Click on the contact that you wish to delete
Once you are there, in the top right hand corner it should say edit
Click on edit, Scroll all the way to the bottom of that contact, and it should say delete contact.
Press delete, and you're all done :)

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
Here's a link to this great service

I would take it to the local ATT store and have them do it. It should be free, given that you have moved from ATT to ATT, just on a different phone. Ask more than one store if you get any trouble from them.

Turn off the iPhone before inserting the sim, insert sim, turn on, import contacts. If you put the sim in the phone without restarting it for some reason it doesn't get all the contacts sometimes.

If the Tungsten has a SIM card you can save the contacts to that, put that in the iPhone and go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars> Import SIM Contacts. If that isn't a option you may be able to export as VCards and import them into Address Book if you use a Mac. I'm not familiar with a way to do this on a PC. Anyone else have a solution?

Following steps can help you to recover deleted history on iPhone 3G
1.Connect your iPhone and Scan it-- After downloading the iOS Data Recovery, run it on the computer and connect your iPhone with the computer by a USB cable. Then click on the "Start Scan" button. The program will begin scanning your iPhone for deleted messages on it. Don't disconnect your iPhone during the whole time.
2.Preview and Recover Text Messages from your iPhone-- When the scan finishes, you can see all your found data listed in clear, organized categories. Choose Messages and Messages Attachments to preview the detailed content. And click what you want and click on Recover to save them on your PC.
