Hello,To create an underscore, hold down the Shift key and press the " - " (hyphen) key to the right of the 0 (zero) key on the top row of your keyboard.
I have the same problem. Click the Windows start button. At the bottom is a Windows Serach box. Type 'keyboard'. A virtual keyboard appears. Click the NumLock key on the Virtual Keyboard. This should override the issue you are having and your keyboard and keys should now work. Otherwise reboot!
its better to use pointer as a shift key
this will solve ur problem and make ur work easy
suppose if you disable pointer key it may cause disturbance or difficulty while typing email or doing some other thing
