HELLO I TRY TO EJECT THE DISK AND IT SAYS ITS LOCKED HOW DO I UNLOCK IT TO GET MY DVD

Look for small hole on lid, stick in a right clip carefully, drvier shoud open manually. Insert a DVD or CD and most cases it opens when you press "eject" on contextual menu doe CD/DVD

If your hk-e330k tray doesn't open shows looked,Switch on the DVD and press & hold reject button for 5 seconds it will show you UNLOCK then you can that enjoying Home Entertainment System...Thanks for viewing!

Hold down the play button, it will take a bit but it turns of the child lock

You can unlock by pressing and holding the Power switch. Sometimes it will then allow you to eject the disk after it restarts, but not always.

uplug then replug then press eject

enter code to unlock

disassemble the unit and eject manually

How I got my DVD from ”lock” condition

My DVD (Panasonic m: DMR-ES10) had gone to ”locked” condition without any warning.

Perhaps the reason was that I transfered the machine when it was on and recording was going…

Guidebook didn´t help to resolve the problem, neither Internet. Finally I managed to solve the promlem . This is how i did step by step:

1) Power on
2) Hello
3) read
4) no disc
5) functions
6) to others
7) setup
8) select down arrow
9) disc
10) select right arrow
11) setings for playback
12) enter
13) ratings (level8)
14) enter
15) No limit
16) enter
17) ”The Recorder is now unlocked” (picture of open lock)
18) enter
19) return
20) return

After this DVD works normally.

Hello, try pressing stop and eject together for 3 seconds. Best regards, Arpi

To unlock, manually press and HOLD the open/close button & the stop button simultaneously, and HOLD them both down until the lock picture disappears.   The DVD will eject when you press the open/close button. 

 

To lock the DVD inside the machine, repeat the same step, and it will lock it inside.
