    how can i disactive hotel mode, at this tv model 21HT5504/01Z? i try the code 062596 +menu but it dosent work, i try the code 319753 mute i can access the instruction but i cant suich off the menu hotel from there, i have this remothttp://pultby.by/philips-rc-1933500301/. if i pres the menu buton it seys not available whn i want to controll the volum it dosent work efry thing ells works, is there any thing i can do? you can mail me allso at [email protected] thenx

    The system also has an option for a master control meaning it is locked and the settings can only be changed with a special remote control which the reception will keep

sorry, it wont go away, bet ya got it cheap huh(nothing intended by cheap) but the tv hotel mode is telling you that its a special tuner made for just hotels, the only way to get around this is if you can replace the hotel type tuner on the main-board with a normal type tuner, it'll cost more than you paid though.good luck,a friend of mine bought 12 of then at $25 each, boy he thought what a deal, now he's really crying and they didn't tell him,and they won't refund his money

Akai TV - Stuck in Hotel Mode
M (menu) 7935 (regular menu appears), them press 4725 (menu service appears), then search HTLSRC (position 090), then set value 032 (this value disables Hotel Mode) - TV. Now Hotel Mode is deactivated. It is verified!

M 7935 4725, go to HTLSRC (090), fix 032 - press TV. Good luck!

in the menu usually a button on tv switch from antenna to cable or catv

if you remote won't work there are 7 or 8 different code choices go through them till it does work

most unversals need tv on and will turn off when code is right

also in menu is audio choices stereo on /off and so on play in there till you get it

Did you get the remote control with it? i have the same model AV2 if jsut one of likr 4 or 5 inputs for this model, if you have cable signal hooked up, use the AV button on the remote to toggle between all of them, Remotes for this model are available too, Just google.com the model number of TV
