Hello! The dirt cup, filter and brushes need to be cleaned to ensure continued cleaning effectiveness. Below are steps for cleaning your Hoover Slider.

Turn switch to OFF position.

1. Press button and slide latch towards outside of cleaner. Rotate dirt cup toward back of cleaner.

2. While holding dirt cup, grasp filter frame and lift out filter. Empty dirt cup after every use. Dirt cup can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Allow to dry thoroughly.

3. Pull middle section of filter out of filter frame. To remove debris from filter, tap it on a hard surface or brush it with a soft brush.

4. Remove lint, strings, etc. from the brush roll located on the underneath side of the nozzle.

5. Replace the brush roll when the brushes do not touch the edge of a card as it is moved across the opening on the bottom of the nozzle.
Further disassembly of the cleaner is not recommended. Hope this helps!

How can I clean or open the bissell quicksteamer dirty tank

Hi Deni! The collection tank can not be opened for cleaning. You may want to fill the tank with some hot tap water and let it sit for about 30 miutes.

Here's a link to our website if you decide to order a new tank.

Dyson DC 14 hose has no suction, with or without brush attachments. Hot air shoots out from the base of the canister when I try to use the hose. I cleaned the top filter, but can't figure out how to remove...

It probably needs to be cleaned but, no that is not your problem. You have a clog somewhere most likely. You should take it to your local vac shop to have it serviced and cleaned

How do you open it to clean out bag?

Hold on to the lip above where the hose attaches to it and lift up. It is a bit hard at first but that is how you open it.

Makes clicking noise and runs for a couple of minutes and then says error 2 open roomba and clean brush cage-do that and the same thing happens 2 minutes later

Pet hair often gets sucked into the gear box that drives the brushes and can clog it enough to generate this error. you need to remove the CHM (cleaning head module) and open the gear box on it to clean it out... you can also visit iRobots site and buy a new one that has been redesigned to avoid this issue.

DC07 bottom brush does not rotate.

I can not pinpoint what exactly solved the issue. I opened the bottom conver, cleaned any presence of hair, cleaned all hoses (yes hose was completely clogged), made sure that the brush bar was engaged by switching the selector back and forth few times from Carpet to Bare floor. (On bare floor setting, brush bar won't rotate).

Now I am happy that the vacuum is completely cleaned and back in operation!
