Only the drivers car door will auto unlock - I can onlt think that the child lock is set but can't find it anywhere - do you know if this model has a child lock and if so where is it

Regarding the rear door child locks: There is a small lever on the latch side of the door, you can only see it with the door open. Move it to the other position.
Regarding the front door locks: You either have a bad door lock switch, or the power lock solenoids are beginning to fail. To check this, you will need to pull the door panels off, & measure the actual voltage at the solenoids whilst manipulating the lock switch. If you have 12 + VDC, I would suggest replacing the door lock solenoids. Not hard to change, but it IS time consuming. Best left to a dealer. Expect to pay 1 hour per side to change each solenoid.

Hey guys , i got one that i think i know whats wrong but i want to check with others to see, ok so here it is my lock switch on the drivers side only unlocks the doors it does not lock but all the other lock switches in the car fully work so im thinkin maybe its the driver side door lock switch.
This is a common problem with this model. If you access the wires in the boot between the door you will find a broken wire about an inch from the connector. Hope this helps!!
SOURCE: 2004 holden rodeo, remote control key wont lock/unlock doors
try putting key in ignition turn to on position
then press lock & unlock several times slowly if door locks cycle up & down after 1st press it lost code and is now resynconised.
now try remote with all doors closed and key out of ignition
if this dont work need to register key(program)back into system which dealer must do with Tech2 if round heart shapped remote
