Could be low on Freon gas.

Is that a florescent bulb in the freezer? Or is there some kind of light bulb in the freezer? If so, change the bulb. I'm not being funny. You give no information on what make, brand and year of the freezer to give you any help.

Do you see any ice buildup on the back panel of the freezer? You may need to remove the back panel to see if the coils are iced over. Post back your results.

The fridge depends on the freezer for cold. Now that winter is coming, the mice are playing. Pull the cover off the tubes in the back and make sure there are absolutely no openings in the back of the freezer. Mice like to travel up the tubes and chew away at the styrofoam where the tubes go into the freezer. Sometimes, they also get into the freezer and block the drain opening. When this happens, the freezer becomes ice-bound and the cold air won't circulate until the ice and dead mouse are removed. To see the drain, you will have to remove the inside walls in your freezer.

When you say it's running, do you mean the fan in the freezer or the compressor is running?

blower motor may be bad..it activates the fan in freezer

seal on door must be letting moisture into compartment, need new door seal

You won't do it. An inverter will keep a compressor running at maybe 200 or 300 watts but it won't start it up.

your freezer had a heater and a bi metal behind its pannel. if they won't work properly than you would face problem like this.......contact your service authority. it cannot be solved by your own
