REPAIRMANTRIED NEW FUSE AND WOULD NOT WORK SO HE REPLACED WATER INLET VALVE UNIT. WRKED FOR 4 WEEKS AND BEGAN BLOWING FUSES. AT PURHASE WE WERE TOLD THE GUIDE AT THE RIGHT BACK OF THE WASHER MUST CONNECT INTO A SOCKET ON THE LEG OF THE DRYER WHEN YOU PUSH THE WASHER UNDER THE DRYER. I DID NOTICE THAT THE GUIDE PIN WAS BENT.

I had the same problem, take the easy rout first and check for obstructions in your venting. Mine was clogged and it shut itself down (to protect itself?)
SOURCE: washer will not spin
The spin pulley is made by plastic. It worn overtime becoming shorter then original shape. When the thickness of pulley is short, it won't be able to engage the clutch inside the transmission to make the drum spin. The spin pulley is not expensive. I read an article about a gentlement replacing a transmission, the brake assembly plus the new belt could not make it spin. I carefully examined the whole thing by turning the belt in the direction of spinning and saw the transmission slipped. That was why I figured out. Transmission has 2 ways of turning: one is for agitation, and the other is for spinning. The pulley has to turn inorder to compress the brake assembly to free from friction and at the same time to engage the clutch so the drum will spin.

pry the top up at the corners and remove attaching screws for the front panel and remove carefully. Now you should be able to see the canister that contains the heat element and the thermal fuse. If your thermal fuse is bad you also need to replace the high limit thermostat switch which is located on the canister itself and check that the heating element is not broken anywhere throughout the coil.

There is a micro switch next to the fuse. It is shorted out. Replace the micro switch and solve your problem.
