Check the hot pin of the bulb socket, its probably loose or pressed flat. Pull it up a bit so it sits higher, then put the bulb back it should make better contact with the bulb and not burn out. Make sure you do this will the unit unplugged from the wall outlet.

SOURCE: temperature going up on refrigerator, inside light going off

Many things can cause this problem...This fridge is computer controlled. there are tests you can run to find out what is going on.....It may help you isolate to the area of the problem...Getting parts could be hard....
Most service personnel can't fix this fridge because it's too complex...

My interior lights in my Viking VCSB423 are out, I tried replacing 2 of the bulbs, it went out after door was open for an extended period of time,(like 10 minutes)

sandra, not being sarcastic but why keep the fridge open for ten minutes? It can cause other problems too. Try not to keep the fridge open for long after bulb change and see if it works. Good luck.

The lights stopped working in the refrigerator. I thought both bulbs had blown and replaced them. Still no lights. Is there a fuse to replace? Not sure what's going on.

Check lights connection with thermostat for correct connection. if there is a short or arching then you will keep replacing these bulbs.

Problem with fridge light on Hotpoint FFA70

Did you check the new lamp when you put it in? Did you keep the old lamp? It may well be the switch rather than the lamp itself. Check the lamp has continuity from the middle pin to the outer and the filament isn't broken

Light went out on refrigerator side

Your Sub-Zero unit contains standard 40 watt appliance bulbs in all compartments.

You'll need to remove the light shield in the top of the refrigerator or freezer to replace the bulbs. Place your hands under the light shield and release the two clips on the back of the light shield, then lift up and slide back slowly until the key slots on the side of the light shield drop past the mounting studs in the side walls. Then remove the shield.

The bulbs are now accessible.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day.

Flourescant lights flickering

is there a ballast or a starter? if there is a starter (little silver metal or white plastic can), then replace the transformer inside the lamp housing. if there is a ballast (long black rectangle with many wires) and you replaced that and the lamp, then there must be a power drain in the unit somewhere.

Make sure, there is no water intrusion. The fog light lens may have a pin hole or crack in it causing water intrusion.
