I had the same problem.
I could not get HDMI to HDMI to work.
i fixed it (work around), by connecting ATV HDMI to DVD HDMI port on V30, i then connect L&R to AUX. I set the Bose remote for controlling ATV to AUX.
so to use ATV with Bose remote i know press DVD, this gives me the correct display but not audio, i then press AUX and this gives me ATV control and audio.
interesting, when i first set this up (trial and error), it didn't work. I was doing some cable management clean up, when i got a fright and the thing started working...but i have a ghost in my house so that is probably a more plausible reason why its working now.
it feels like this product is only 90% finished

I am quite sure that the indicator lights should be green. The blinking yellow likely indicates that there is no communication between the head and the audiomass. Verify that the connections are tight and then try powering off (unplugging) the system (both head and audiomass) for 30 seconds and then powering on again. That will often re-establish communications.

SOURCE: Have a Bose 3-2-1 Series
Here are 3 things to try and an if all else fails at the end.
1) Make sure the TV is set to the correct Video Input to see the video from DVDs on the Bose system.
• Make sure a DVD is in the disc tray.
• If the TV is connected to the media center using the HDMI cable:
Switch from one Video Input to another and then back to the original input.
2) Turn everything off, then:
Turn on the TV and set the TV Video Input for the Bose system video.
Turn on the Bose system and press DVD.
3) Turn off both the TV and the Bose system and then:
Unplug the HDMI cable from both ends.
Disconnect the power cables from both your TV and the Bose 321 system.
Re-connect power to the TV and to the Bose 321 system.
When the Bose 321 system startup message disappears from the display,
re-connect the HDMI cable to the TV then Bose 321 system.
Turn on the TV first, then turn on the Bose 321 system.
If all the above fail then disconnect the HDMI cable that connects the TV to the Bose 321 system and reconnect the two using a Component cable, an S-Video cable, or the Composite cable provided with the system.
Please leave feedback
Cheers
