Maytag mat12csegw unbalance problem

Hi,

Please reload the washer with dry clothes and attempt to wash them as normal. If the weight is distributed evenly, then the unbalanced-signal should go away once the wash starts.

Thank you.

My GE washer GTW460NMKwww, the drum will not balance itself when going into final spine cycle.

Are the clothes evenly distributed inside the drum and the washer not overloaded? The drum is not self balancing, you must take care when loading it to even the weight distribution

My washer tub acts as if the load is unbalanced . but i tried it empty it does it also. it worked fine before we moved this week model number LAT 7304AAE

Does it start at all or go into unbalance straight away? It is possible that the lever which engages the unbalance/lid switch has come out of the switch mechanism and it is continually indicating unbalance even when there is nothing wrong. The easiest way to check is to undo the two screws on the front and remove the panel by pulling the bottom forward, then undo the two 10mm bolts inside underneath the top panel. You can then lift up the top panel and reach the lid/unbalance switch and check that the metal lever is properly activating the switch.

GE Washer model # WLSE3150A0WW. When spinning, the tub is significantly out of balance. Clothes have been redistributed to balance the weight. All 4 suspension rod and spring assemblies are in place and...

There may be damage to the balance ring which is situated on top of the basket. This hollow ring is partially filled with fluid which will move to compensate for an unbalanced load. Normally this model would be able to handle up to 5 -6lbs of unbalanced load on one side without significant movement. If the fluid has leaked out it would have a hard time with a slight unbalance. Without some disassembly, it will be difficult to tell. A couple of quick things to look for would be: If the ring still has fluid, you might be able to hear a slight sloshing sound when you move the tub back and forth with your hand. If it has leaked you might see clear droplets that have a greasy feel between you fingers and do not evaporate like water would. That is if it has not been washed away during use.

Spin cycle tub becomes unbalance

When the drum gets unbalanced more often then not, there's a few things to check:
1. Check to make sure your machine is level. Check level from side to side and also front to back. The machine has leveling feet to adjust. Make sure they are all in firm contact with the floor when leveled.
2. Wash items that are alike in material. In other words, wash towels with towels, shirts with shirts, etc. If you wash a load of shirts with a towel, it will have a tendency to get unbalanced quickly.
3. Avoid over-stuffing the machine and washing under sized loads. Both of these scenarios will cause a tendency to go out of balance on the spin.
This will solve 75-80% of unbalance issues. Let me know how it goes..

GE WASHER SPIN OUT PROBLEMS

Sounds like the suspension for the drum is having problems - there are usually springs holding the drum up and acting as shocks - one of the springs may have come off during an unbalanced load.

My washer shows UE code

UE code is an "unbalance error". Believe it or not, it is possible to unbalance a front load style washing machine. Usually caused by trying to wash smaller loads where the drum spins to try to distribute the weight evenly. With less laundry, you cannot distribute enough weight evenly around the drum and sometimes will cause an unbalanced load. If your problem is not a simple loading issue, it could be the balance sensor, loose wiring, or possibly the main control board. I hope this helps.
