I really do not know what is going on, I have also given my bank card details when setting up, I feel very confused at this moment, please can you help me
Call amazon\'s customer service.
i have never ownned a kindel but its a product of amazon. you should always register your hardwasre with your real street address and real name so you can be identified incase someone tried to use your system.
i had a dangerous police groupie / stalker/ pergerer / turnned mail fraud artist who greated an alian "cesilia dori james", try to use my mail box with my neighbors name and i caught him taking mail out of my mail box one day. even though the police did nothing. i wrote the story on an advocat web sight and forced the company to stop calling and admitt they made a big mistake. he is a convicted felon nammed steve benzor.
he has nothing to loose by continuing to try to this day because there are no laws to stop stalkers.
but it\'s no more dangerous to use your real name and address with amazon than it is with kroger or walmart

Hey there
I think you might find this one useful
● Home button
(bottom row of keyboard) – Return to Home menu
● Shift Alt R – Reboot the Kindle
● Shift Alt . (period) – Restart just the GUI (graphical user interface)
● Shift Alt G – Grab a screenshot. Screenshots can only be stored on an SD
card. A .gif image file will be saved to the SD card.
● Shift SYM –
Start a demo. Needs a special demo script on the SD card.

● Shift Alt M –
Play Minesweeper
● Alt Z – Rescan your Kindle for pictures
● Alt T – Show the time
● Number Keys – Jump to that page of your Home menu (1 to jump to page 1, 2 for

If your Home
menu is sorted by book name or author, start typing the name or author and the
Kindle will jump to it.

Apologies, this is not a solution, but just to say that I currently have exactly the same problem. Have you managed to fix yours?

Four reasons come to mind that may prevent you from connecting:
Please add a comment to this solution if one of these items resolved your problem. If you suffered from a different issue I did not think of, it would be nice to drop me a line, too. Other people will benefit from any experience you made.

Amazon might help you with this because it is so new. However if you dropped it (etc.) and if HTC doesn't replace it for you, You can get the part at Kindle 3 Repair and there is a guide that shows you how to put in the part at Kindle Repair Guide.
