Not really sure what it is. the car smells like fresh gas may be leaking from somewhere and its making a jingling sound from somewhere under the hood. it sounds like its coming from the front towards the headlights
Don't worry about the sound, Find the gas leak. Fuel lines come in on the drivers side. Then you have the injectors. on the fuel rail. on the fuel rail there is a pressure regulator. All this needs checked. Fuel lines on the engine are metal. BUT coming up to the metal lines, they are plastic. LOOK for wet spots.. FIX them. The regulator is on the fuel rail/ with the injectors. LOOK for wet spot at these locations also... There are also other locations under the car to find gas leaks....Fix this first...

Sounds like a bad idler pulley,or belt tensioner. Most likely not water pump since the check engine light is not on. Altho it couold be the water pump and for some reason (bad sensor, burnt out light) the check engine isnt coming on. Either way it would be best to have it looked at.

Possible bad motor mount(s) --only thumps or rattles when power is going to the wheels.

Check door rubber seal for damage / wear.
To test exhaust simply place a flexible object over exhaust pipe to seal it. If no leaks it should blow it off.

Check and see if you have any gas on the ground after you park your car. Check around the gas tank and gas cap. It's possible that the fuel pump (which is in the gas tank) has hoses that may be leaking. If this is a slight leak, it might only manifest itself via a gas odor into the trunk or passenger compartment. It might be a good idea to put the car on a hoist and follow the fuel lines from the engine to the fuel tank. There should a one line that takes the fuel from the fuel tank to the engine and another that brings back the excess. There should also be another line coming out of the fuel tank that is for venting. Unfortunately, the fuel pump and hose connections are not easily accessible and require either removing the gas tank or cutting a hole in the trunk to access it. You should definitely take care of this soon as leaks don't get better, only worse and it is a potential fire hazard. Good luck!
SOURCE: Chain dragging / Change jingling sound from Driver Front Side
Does this sound occur while th engine is running and the car is sitting still? Or only while driving? If so look at the exhaust pipe under the engine, there is a section that looks like flexible pipe, at either end there is a thin washer-like connector or fastner is it dangeling from the pipe, if so that is probably your noise. I had the same jingling noisre in mine and that was the problem, I just cut it off and the noise never came back. Hope this helps, let me know.
