I got a Samsung HDTV model LN40E550F7F.TV will not power on. The Power light is flashing First flash is bright and flash following is dim then back bright then dim.etc non stop.i looked at power supply and the compactors are in great condition no bulges,burn out leaks or nasty smell. I'm just clueless on what else to look for or what else could cause this issue. Had it for two years. Was working just fine earlier today. Screen flickered once then went black. I turned it off then tried to turn it back on. Then this happened.

Two flashes sugests that the power supply is faulty.It will have to be taken in to a service centre for repairs.

Hi, All.
I ordered a new power supply module on ebay. Cost about 106.00 delivered. Came in a few days. I replaced the unit, bunch of screws, all wires were cable plugins, no problems at all.
After reassembly, it worked. What can I say? Sometimes ya just get lucky.

you need to remove main ckt, (m.board) some part need to re solder specially in hot area. (lost contact i one of the flickering problem you encountered.

SOURCE: Red power light and buzzing sound with red lamp light.

If the lamp does not light at all, it is probably a bad lamp. The buzzing may be the ballast trying to start the lamp or a problem with the power supply. Check the lamp and see if the arc tube is broken. If its a new lamp, you should be under warranty. I have the manual if you want to go to me site at allprojectorlamps.com.
