I have a panasonic cq-c1101u, bought it used and the previous owners wired it wrong. I the radio will not keep time because every time the car turns off it doesnt give any power to the radio and the clock has to be reset. I've got the radio pulled out and am amazed at the amount of wires behind it. Help please!
I don't know what kind of car that you have but on that radio there should be two power wires one is red and the other is yellow, the red wire connects to the wire in the car that will only have power when the key is turned to the on position, the yellow wire connects to the wire in the car that always has power with the key off.........
You have to find the constant power wire. They have it unhooked
U Will have to swapp the yellow cable with the red cable .
Yellow - Red
Red- Yellow
then it shold have constant power , and when u remove the keys the radio still goes off . and the memory will still be saved.
