I understand that your Frigidaire dryer, model# GLEQ2152ES, will run for a few minutes and then stop and display "AD" with the lights flashing. The "AD" means that your appliance was in an automatic dry mode. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

I understand that you are having trouble with your dryer not heating and not running a full cycle and shutting off with the Drying, Cool Down, and Extended Tumble lights flashing. What I suggest is to give your appliance a hard reset. You will do this by either unplugging it or cutting the power off at the circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. After the 3-5 minutes, bring power back and try to start a cycle. If it does not complete the cycle and shuts off with the lights flashing, I suggest to either contact the manufacturer or a local appliance technician. This way you will be able to locate the cause of this issue and have it resolved.
Hello everclavel - Try reprogramming the dryer by flipping the household circuit breaker off or unplugging it. Wait approximately ten minutes and restart unit. If it proves to be ineffective, the dryer could possibly be experiencing a communication error with the main control board, wiring failure, or faulty door lock assembly. Connect with a certified technician to move forward accurately to assist with the repairs.
One possible cause would be the gas dryer radiant sensor. If it senses that the temperature is too hot it will shut off the unit to prevent a fire. Here is a link to the Sears part.
Disconnect the plug. Disconnect the wires to the heater element. Using an ohm meter or test light, test the heater element to see if it is open. If it is open the meter needle will not move If a test light , it will not light. If true then replace element.
