Turns off screen goes, black, green, magenta, different each time. Green indicator light blinks once and stays on. Green indicator light flashes when using remote. Cycles from green to red indicators pressing pwr button.

You have a safety cut off, possible that some circuits are thermally running away. could be idtentifed by elimination cooling but unless you are familiar with electronics do not attempt.check on Sony authorised service but keep this in mind as well ask for a wuote before the work is done.
