How can I delete iBooks from phone but not delete from IPad?

You can directly delete books from your iPhone in the iBooks app. Here is how:
Step 1. Find and open the iBooks app on your iPhone.
Step 2. Click on My Books at the bottom bar. Click on Select on the right hand corner, tap on the books you want to remove.
Step 3. Click the red Delete button to remove books in iBooks from iPhone.

If you have piles of books in your iPad, you may want to delete books from iPad to free up iPad storage space. The easiest way to do that is deleting books in iBooks app. You need to go to iBooks app, and tap Select at the upper right corner. Then select the books you don't need and tap Delete at the upper left corner.

I don't think u can cause I can't delet it from mine phone that how Apple has it wich is DUBM if u ask me

Where are you deleting the books from? iBooks? Or another application?

If you are using the newest update for your iPad:
you just need to go to the screen where you can view your books and in the top right there should be an edit button, press that.

then press any books you want to delete and they should have a checkmark in the bottom right corner.

Then in the top left corner click delete and it will delete the books from your iPad

but you can always download them again if you have paid for them by clicking the book again (it will show up with a little grey icon on the top right of the book picture.

In iBooks tap the edit button, select each book you want to remove then tap the delete button (upper left)

I had that problem, too and solved it by plugging my IPAD into my computer and updating it's software through ITunes...there have been a couple of updates in the last month and doing this solved my problem.
You first have to make sure you have the latest ITunes update and then it should find the software for your Ipad...which is actually quite a big download, so you have to be patient.

This is a common bug when Apple upgraded the ibooks.
First, delete the app from your phone. Second, open itunes on your computer without the phone attached third, update all apps fourth, plug in your iphone and sync ibooks
if the above doesn't work then re-download ibooks from itunes
if both above dont work then you need to erase the ibooks app from your phone and itunes and then download the app again.
