I have a fine red vertical line running from top to bottom on my ViewSonic 32 TV. How do I eliminate the line?

If those are real fine lines all the way from top to bottom, that is a section that has failed. I don't believe there is a way to repair it.

Have you applied pressure to top or bottom edge? Probably one of fine vertical connection lines are broken. Almos unfixable. If you received the screen like this, consider taking it back for warranty.

Just bought the Samsung Galaxy s6 edge yesterday. After I charged the cellphone for the first time and turned it back on there was this straight.

If it is still under warranty, take it back ASAP. The panel could be failing, TAKE IT BACK

Try changing the input device to something you are sure works. Switch off TV manually, switch off power, remove plug and retry after 48 hours. If problem persists, please refer it to a qualified service technician.

Solid vertical line means you have bad LCD panel due to failed TFT driving circuits.
This VX series are not built as well as the old Viewsonic used to be.

you must reset the system of you TV.Open the back cover of your TV reach for the main board.there is a small button on the main board just press it and the error of your TV will be ok...

I had a similar issue. Took it in and apparently i had 4 bad capacitors and after replacing those, my tv was perfect. But I think I lucked out on this one. :) try it.
