The LD error code means LONG DRAIN time and usually the reason it displays that code is because something it caught in the drain pump, thusly since something is in the pump its taking a very long time to drain the water.
Ld (F32) Long Drain "Ld" flashes when water level drop ain't sensed by that fancy lectronic control. Check these things out: Drain pump fouled/clogged Drain hose too high for propah pumpin. Pressure hose tubing clogged/pinched came loose from that fancy control upstairs.
Hello, the "Ld" error code indicates a long drain. It is displayed when water
level does not change while the drain pump is running. You can check
for the following problems:
Is the drain hose kinked or clogged?
Check the drain pump for clogs. Is it running?
Is the drain hose height greater than 96 inches?
Is the pressure switch hose connection from the tub to the machine control board pinched or plugged?
Do you see excessive suds in the basket? Are you using high efficiency (HE) detergent?

“F21” (AKA SD) is a Long (SLOW) Drain error (LD). If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a “SUDS” error may also be displayed. This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:
1.First, attempt to unplug the washer for at LEAST 30 minutes to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU). Sometimes this is all that is required to correct momentary glitches with the unit. If the error code returns, proceed to step 2. 2.Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged. 3.Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running. 4.Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris. Hello, LD stands for long drain.
If all the water isn't out of the unit within a certain time, the ld will flash.
Could be 2 things.
1) There's lint stuck in the pump preventing the water to drain properly or
2) You're using too much soap causing lots of suds also preventing the pump from draining properly. If this is the case, what you need to do is run the washer on full load with no detergent and clothes. Let it go thru the cycle and get rid of eccess suds. This is most likely your problem.
