One possibility is that it is in airplane mode.
To check, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap Wireless. If Airplane Mode is On, tap Off to enable wireless connectivity.
Hi there this might help and I'm sorry if it doesn't, you can try turning on airplane mode, leave it for thirty seconds or so then turn off airplane mode and try again, you can also try reloading the wifi network list and your router in particular. Good Luck!!!
From the home wage swipe down with finger from the top of your kindle then select "wireless." You will see airplane mode on/off on the right. Select the option you want.
One option is to check your "audio profile" settings. Let it not be that you've in error activated "Airplane mode" "Meeting mode" or the likes.
Another way round is to swipe from the top of your display screen down and check the icons to see if Airplane mode is activated/selected.
Your tab will definitely be different from mine, no doubt. But if you look closely at the pictures attached... you will observe that my data connection is ON while airplane mode is deactivated or OFF.
In order to show you, i then activated the Airplane mode and instantly, my data connection was automatically switched to OFF
Hope this helps; otherwise, you need to provide additional info as regards your device please.
Oops, sorry. Pictures were taken ages to upload to fixya servers and as such discontinued/cancelled by me.
Airplane mode turns off 3G and wireless etc. Good for when you are on an airplane or when you are out of range and wish to save battery. Eg. get on a airplane activate airplane mode, switch off device, plane takes off, then when the seatbelt sign comes off turn device on, and play angry birds or watch a movie without any risk of interfering with plane. Airdrop is a public folder, that allows you to share images, vids and links via wireless. Similar to Bump, it is less dorkier than having 2 phones have to "kiss". lockable to no airdrop contacts or everyone. My kids are always turning on "airplane mode" which shuts down the WiFi. Be sure the tablet isn't in airplane mode (you'll see an airplane icon) in the settings. (It's also an option at shut-down.) Being in airplane mode would prevent the Nabi from "seeing" the WiFi devices.
