My machine was having problems with the door lock a few years ago and was sort of parked and hasn't been used. Now the door lock is working but the machine isn't, it is filling and the water is pumping out but it isn't washing or spinning the timer is working. Any suggestions. Can I go into Service Mode to diagnose the problem. No error codes. Thanks Anita
SOURCE: It doesn't spin in cycle. Timer goes slowly and
It seems that the timer is faulty and must be checked on for loss of contact while it is in the spin mode of the cycle. It can be a mechanical failure of the connections or a possible failure of the contacts.
It will be good if you can source one timer unit to be set on for a trial swap so as to confirm before you can invest on one .... being expensive.
SOURCE: I have a maytag neptune washer that will not spin.
Hi
Please check the belt on the washer, if worn out replace the belt. Spinning issues are mostly due to drive belt. If the belt looks fine then inspect the wiring from door lock to control board for any disconnections, replace the wires if necessary. Also check the motor isolators if they are firm and in position.
Hope this helps... Please post back if you need more information.

POWER/CANCEL press for to cancel the error codes.
First to unlock depending on model. There will be a pull tab either
under the lower kick panel, behind the filter cover, or under the top
panel. Pull this tab to unlock the door. Now you can remove the clothes
and water. Refer to the owners manual for the location of your emergency
door pull tab.
Door Switch
You will need to remove the door switch
to check it. You will perform an ohm reading on the bottom terminals.
The reading varies from manufacturers most Frigidaires is around 1500
ohms others like the whirlpool duet is checked at the main control board
with the door closed should be around zero ohms. You will need to refer
to the tech sheet or service manual for the proper reading.
Main Control Module / CCU
The main control unit is the circuit board located behind the console.
If the door switch tests good the main control is usually the problem.
Check all connections for a goood tight fit. You will need to refer to
the tech sheet or service manual to check this further. The main control is easy to replace.
Power Cord
If the washer won't start, check to be sure
there is power to the electrical outlet for the home. If that is OK, the
power cord itself might be defective. This is rare. You can check the
power cord with an Ohm meter for continuity.+fuse thermal +c.breaker
