Tuning television why have chanels gone to 800

Have not got 1 of these so this is an educated guess:
Go to settings, select tuning or chanel tuning, opt for the auto tune, follow all directions give to complete.

If the TV is powered off and still does not change from the channel 2 position then it is possible that the processor has crashed or that the memory has gone sticky.
So if you are not able to reset the menu and do a fresh tuning and scan , the processor/memory is faulty.

Audio and Video Front Inputs are available

for a quick connection of a VCR, to playback

video from a camera or attach a gaming

device. Use the AV button on the remote control

to tune these inputs.

1 Connect the video (yellow) cable

from the Video output on the Camera

(or accessory device) to the Video (yellow)

Input located on the FRONT of

the TV.

2 For Stereo Devices: Connect the audio

cable (red and white) from the Audio

Left and Right Outputs on the Camera

to a Stereo to Mono adapter. Then plug

the single end of the adapter to the

Audio In (white) jack on the FRONT

of the television.

For Mono Devices: Connect one end

of the audio cable from the Audio Out

jack on the device to the Audio In
(white) jack on the FRONT of the television

3 Turn the TV and the accessory device

ON.

4 Press the AV button on the remote

control to tune the TV to the side input

jacks. "Front" will appear on the TV

screen.

5 Press the PLAY
button on the

accessory device to view playback, or

to access the accessory device (camera,
gaming unit, etc.).

Repeatedly pressing the AV button on the

remote control will toggle the picture source

from the current channel, or Front input

jacks.

this connection are not supplied with your

retune from menu select auto tuning function after that your chanell addded.

have you stored the required chanell?after tuning be sure to save.

Most Trinitrons use the menu button on the remote to set up funtions.Chanel Line Up, or set up chanels is under one of the funtions.Be advised that here in the US the switch to DTV requires that you have a DTV Tunner to receive over the air Broadcasts,Analog tuners no longer receive chanels(you need a converter box and anntena,Cable/Sat work fine.If this is an older model you need box.Try to get into menu,setup,chanels.Good Luck.

try to reset ur tv to factory setting.....should be in ur instruction booklet...when done try to set to automatic channel search and it should find Chanel for ur area

Because you have DirecTV there is no need to use auto tuning. You simply changed inputs on the TV when you started auto tuning. Just use the input button on the remote to go back to the Direct TV receiver. Most likely it will be under Component (Color Stream) or HDMI input.

How do I get the TV screen back to an AV chanel?
I cant get a slide show to view on the TV screen.
