I dont have a option button just power and start i have a red lock symbol on and washer wont start

On some IFB washers, the CH indicates that the child lock (control panel lock) has been activated to avoid accidental washer use. On the IFB digital 5 KG washer, you can toggle the child lock on and off by pressing the Soak Option and Delay Start buttons simultaneously. These are the second and fourth button for the Optional settings above the LCD display on this model. Below the keys, there is a skeleton key symbol in the center of a line drawn between these two keys. Lock Function

You can lock the controls to prevent any selections from being made. Or you can lock the controls after you have started a cycle. children cannot accidentally start the washer by touching pads with this option selected.

To lock the washer, press and hold the DELAY START button for 3 seconds (on some models use SIGNAL button). To unlock the washer controls, press and hold the DELAY START button for 3 seconds. The control lock icon on the display will light up when it is on.

NOTE: The POWER button can still be used when the machine is locked.

Please see if there is a lock installed into for safety. Press and hold power/start/pause as power is plugged.
Make sure that the door switch is working open and close once again to check as this can also stop the machine from operating.

The Red Lock indicates that it has been Child Locked, this could be done by accidently pressing child lock. On your remote control there is a MUSIC button, to turn off the red child lock PUSH & HOLD the button. The red lock does not go off with a qucik push. You need to Push & Hold The music button for about 10 secounds.

have power lights are on , but wont start and door wont lock

Just unplug the washer and wait a couple of minutes before you plug it back in. That should clear the code and let you get the door open.

I've been going crazy with this too. Turns out all you have to do is hold down the "options" & "select" buttons at the same time until the "lock light" (the light just above the "pause/cancel" button) turns off. I guess that's why there is a line under the option/select buttons that have a lock symbol connecting the two.

You've put the child lock on! When powered key press the on/off button for 5 seconds. This will remove the key!

We had the same problem and this website solved it for us. The child lock is on when the lock symbol light in the lower right of the panel is on. The machine will not start with the light on. If you press the Option and Select buttons together (there is a lock symbol with a line to the two buttons), the lock symbol light will switch between on and off. When it's off, the machine can start. None of this was in the "Use and Care Guide," maybe we lost our manual. But thanks for helping to solve the problem!
