SOURCE: how do i restore my iphone if it stuck in recovery mode???

try restore your iphone from iTunes, if it failed downloading from iTunes, you can try download the iOS package first, then restore using iTunes. You can try direct download for iOS 7.1.1 here:

IPad shows blank black screen & won't turn off ~ how do I fix?

Try reseting the iPad by holding the home and power buttons simultaneously until the iPad completely shuts down and the Apple logo appears.

Once the Apple logo appears you can release the buttons. If this does not work, you may need to connect your iPad to your computer and do a factory restore using iTunes.

My iphone wont start i was working with it till i went to lunch i put it in to my pocket then wen i toke it out dead it wont start i tryed the home and power everything nowthing i connect it to pc itunes...

Disconnect the cable.
Hold down the home and power button for 15+ seconds.
When the phone turns off, wait a minute then power it back on with the top button.

If it is still stuck in recovery mode, open itunes, connect the phone, and follow the prompts after it says it detected an iphone in recovery mode.

To reset your iPhone settings,

picexporterror From the home screen, Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

Still having problems?
Try deleting all the existing settings.

Note: The step given below will delete all the data on your iPhone. It will also give a reset to your settings.
From the home screen, Tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Contents and Settings.

Or:

If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond

  1. Press and hold the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the application you were using quits.
  2. If that doesn't work, turn iPhone off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for 10 seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
  3. If that doesn't work, reset iPhone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

Tried to erase all data, iphone froze at the apple

Turn iphone off. Power on holding power and home at same time for 10 seconds, then release power button but hold home for another 30 seconds. Screen will stay blank but should be in DFU recovery mode. Plug into iTunes and recover.
