You likely have a bad tuner board. Check that the power board and tuner has any blown caps and replace if needed.

most likely a defective Z-SUSTAIN board failure if the video looks somewhat correct and the tv is just dark. the Z-SUSTAIN board basically powers the plasma panel and if it fails a certain way it will cause this problem with the dark video. if you can get the tv taken apart and look for part numbers off of the board on the far right looking from that back then you may be able to find the part on the internet somewhere otherwise Contact Sanyo Manufacturing Corp 1-800-877-5032. good luck

I went through all the Sanyo TV codes and then started entering in groups of 10. The U-verse offered 1103 i did 1100 to 1110 and it worked with 1107. Unfortunately at&T said you have to check the manufacturer which doesn't list universal codes. I was lucky on the Sanyo 18.5" LCD from Walmart using 1107!

You need to clean the laser lens first and if don´t works change the disc motor spindle

deko, heres the number for Sanyo parts, 800-877-5032, you can order the service manual there, part number for manual is KTDS27425. I`m sorry I don`t have it to look up the IC but it will be very usefull to have the manual, I think it`s around $20.00
