I have a LG blueray player and lost the remote how

Your denon amp amp does not match and work well
in some players for instance "Samsung" no pictures
and sound via HDMI input. Only replacing players
to another brand such as LG can fix the problem.

get a logitect universal remote and set it up to the dvd player.
I know what you are asking and I don't think you will be able to move or select sub menus on movies without a remote.

With your set on and without disc in the tray:

1. Press PLAY from your remote control
2. Press the following button sequence: 1590 2379 390
3. Press PLAY again

This will release the region verification in your player(region free). However, some DVDs (multi region in particular) will not play, since they require region detection from the player unit.

Sounds like your blue ray player is defective

You can probably use the front panel buttons (STOP PLAY OPEN/CLOSE etc) manually, the only thing you cannot do without the remote is access certain DVD menus, including subtitles/language/special features etc. You can always obtain and use a universal remote for basic menu functions later on if necessary.

To play a DVD movie without the remote, simply load your preferred disc, wait for the player to finish reading its contents, then to skip copyright warnings and/or the 'play movie' menu screen, press STOP, then PLAY, or simply press PLAY button where 'play movie' (or whatever function) is highlighted in the menu. These buttons should be on the front of the main unit. Doing this should encourage the player to detect the appropriate title (the movie) and play it (basic playback operation may not be possible with some DVD releases due to the numerous interactive menus and title pages, such as film trailers).

If basic manual operation is not completely possible with some DVD titles, consider a universal remote for your player if you have either lost your original, or the player was purchased/received without one. Such remotes are relatively inexpensive to purchase, and are available just about everywhere.

Check ur movie Rating like PG,PG 13, R,NT 17 on the Blu ray player.Check might have children lock passwords require on it?

With people downloading movies illegally, companies have put blocks on DVD's, unfortunately making the DVD unplayable for some blue-ray players

After the movie loads and shows "play" highlighted. And only then,press the stop button and then press the play button and the movie should play...hope this helps.

if it is a desktop this will be an easy change out, make sure to match it up if your old dvd drive is ide you will need an ide blueray if its sata you will need a sata blueray. but as far as i know they only have sata type bluray drives. eitherway open the case remove the screws holding the drive and swap them out. there will be the data cable (sata) and the power cable.
Make sure the pc if off and unplugged when you attempt this. afterwards if any cd's came with the drive you might need to install the drivers.
