Panasonic TH-50PX60U 50 in. Plasma: No blinking light but screen is nothing but color vertical lines. Which board is the likely culprit? Screen is full of various color lines. Sound is fine and when I change video sources, the menu is clear and readable. Color lines on screen seem to change with different channels. If I can identify the board that is faulty, I'll replace the board. Does anyone know how to pinpoint the problem?

hi,im a hdtv technician i have encountered already for that kind of trouble.the problem of your lcd is the panel.the panel is defective replace it with a new one lcd panel. (olevia,syntax and kolin lcd thats the brand i assingn.)

The pixels in a plasma screen are commanded directly by a set of buffer circuits. In your tv the 2 circuits that are responsible of those 2 separate lines are dying. To fix that you must replace the buffer boards on which theses circuits are situated - here they are
