When I manually put to spin, it is a smell as if something is burning. So something tries to happen, but then stops
SOURCE: Water isn't completely draining
the water sound is normal ,to make the machine balance there is a liquid in the shell of the tub that is always there. As for the smell start leaving the door partially open and mold/mildew cant form.
SOURCE: Washing machine will not drain
Please fill your washer with a very small amount of water, turn it to spin and tilt it back. You should be able to see the belt on the bottom turning your pump. I ask you to verify this because imporper belt tension or a bad thrust bearing can keep it from turning improperly. If it turns freely on this test, Then you have something plugged up. Drain the water out. Next unhook the hose that goes between the tub and the pump at the tub side. You can get sock or other small articals of clothing in there that will prevent draining. If that is clear. It is likely you have had another coin go through your hose that goes between the pump and the wall. They can get quite a ways in there and maytag hoses get smaller right before they end. If you have a coin in this area you will need to work it all of the way back to the pump side of the hose.
SOURCE: Washing machine started making noise in spin cycle and then there were fumes
The belt is loose and slipping. They were probably, black and smell like burning tires!

SOURCE: washer just stopped
I would check the drainpump ans see if there is something jammed inside like a coin or screw, nail etc before doing anything else .Unplug the machine first though . A burning smell will occur with a load of water trying to spin .
