What does e013 means on IRC2550

I believe a E013 error code means that the waste toner feed screw is packed with toner and can not turn the feed screw. From what I remember, there is a switch on the drive gears for the waste toner on the back ofthe copier. It is not a Happy, happy,joy,joy job...... You will need to clear out the feed screw & empty out the waste toner bottle and possibly cln out the drum unit... Toner is packed there as well...... Good Luck

The copier shows an E013-0001 and "Waste Toner Full" message. The Waste Toner Bottle has been emptied and SW1 is operating properly but the code and the message are still appearing on the display.

Answer :
The counter for the Waste Toner Bottle needs to be reset back to zero in Service Mode.
Enter Service Mode level 1 by pressing * 2 8 *, select Copier > Counters > MISC, then highlight WST-TNR, press Clear - the counter will zero out.
Power off the copier, turn the copier back on, the Waste Toner Full message on the display should clear out.

In most cases that means that you need to clean/ replace waste toner container, but in worst case scenario:
E013
Cause • Waste toner feeding motor (faulty)
• Waste toner feeding screw (rotation fault)
• DC controller PCB (faulty)
Description
0001 The rotation speed of the waste toner feeding motor has deviated
from a specific value for 0.1 sec or more (PLL signal ‘0’).
0002 The waste toner lock detection switch (SW4) has been pressed for
0.1 sec or more

If I rember correctly a E013 error code means that there is something causing a drag in the copier. Do you hear a clicking sound before it codes out? I would look in the fuser unit and see if the cleaning web is wraped around the upper fuser roller or if the Lower fuser roller is cut and causing the fuser not to turn. If that turns OK, I'm almost sure you may have a packet waste toner aurger or waste toner tube is cluged. If that is the case you will have a packet AP kit... Good Luck

Solution: the waste toner is FULL.you have to get rid of that TONER.

E013 usually means used toner transport jammed

A E013 is a code that is refering to the waste toner screw is not turning. The feed screw is packed withe toner. you have to unclug the waste toner tube. It's a very unpleasant job, Good Luck

E013 refers to the waste toner receptical being full, but in this case the toner melts at the end of the worm screw assembly causing the cleaning unit to block up, activating the microswitch which tells the machine the waste toner bottle is full. The solution is to try to free up the worm screw assembly, failing that, replacement of the drum cleaning assembly.
